Ordering Information for Organic Pastured Chickens

$3.65 per lb (average weight 4-5#)
$1.50 processing fee per chicken


*These chickens are completely organic & pastured (meaning they are moved to fresh pasture daily) and raised on a local family farm.

*Orders are due by September 16, 2008, and will be available for pickup in October (we will have an exact date as it gets closer).

*Payment is due when you pick up your chickens. 

*For your information, we will be ordering twice per year - early summer and early fall.

Ordering Information & Guidelines for Grassfed Beef

*Please note that our beef is completely grassfed (not fed any grains at all) and raised on a local family farm. Please contact us if you have any questions about the raising of our beef.

Whole Cow: $2.20 per lb (hanging weight)
Half Cow (Mixed): $2.40 per lb (hanging weight)
Quarter Cow (Mixed): $2.60 per lb (hanging weight)


*We have beef available twice per year (fall and spring). 

*The next beef orders are due September 1, 2008, for pick up in early November.

*Cutting instructions are due by September 1, 2008. They may be emailed (mannastorehouse@windstream.net) or called (440-355-5826) into Jackie.  If you do not call in your instructions on time, you run the risk of losing your deposit and not getting your beef. If you are calling in your instructions, it must be within the following days & times:

         Mondays:       1pm-6pm
         Tuesdays:      1pm-6pm
         Wednesdays:  9am-7pm
         Sundays:        11am-4pm


 *We will only deal with one person for each order.  If you want to order a whole cow and split it up among multiple people, then that is your responsibility.  You will get one invoice, and only one person will deal with us and there can only be one set of cutting instructions. 

*On average, a whole cow is anywhere from 400-700#, hanging weight. There is normally a 70-75% meat yield.  Meaning if you get a 400# cow, you will bring home 280-300# of actual meat.

*We require a $100.00 deposit when you place your beef order.  The balance is due when you pick up your beef.  Please note that your deposit must be received by the order deadline.

Processing/Slaughtering Fees

These fees are the responsibility of the customer and are as follows:

Slaughtering fee for whole:    $45.00
Slaughtering fee for half:       $21.50
Slaughtering fee for quarter:  $11.25

Basic processing for whole:    $0.43 per lb (hanging weight)
Basic processing for half:        $0.43 per lb (hanging weight)
Basic processing for quarter:  $0.47 per lb (hanging weight)

Beef Patties $0.30 per lb
Vacuum Packed Patties $0.35 per lb
Round Steak Cubed $0.20 per lb
Cube Steak $0.30 per lb

Steaks like rib, t-bone and porterhouse are packaged 2 steaks per pack.  If you prefer 1 steak per pack, there are additional fees.  These fees are flat rate.
